U-Eco
A new national economy owned and built by everyday people, a network of community innovators solving real problems, platform that turn citizens into AI-powered creators, builders, and entrepreneurs, and a system where opportunity is available to all.
The U Economy is Nigeria’s first people-centered, intelligence-driven economic system that empowers every citizen to create, own, and participate in new businesses, industries, and community projects.
In the U Economy, every individual becomes a builder of their future
It lives inside the U App .One app. One movement. One economy built around you.
Why We Built the U Economy
For decades, Nigerians have lived inside an economy that limits their potential. Our industries are old. Our opportunities are unequal. Our voices are rarely heard. We work hard but see little progress. We innovate, but the system does not move with us. We dream, yet the nation does not create space for those dreams to grow.
At the same time, the world is changing faster than our institutions. Artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, frontier technologies — these forces are reshaping global power, wealth, and development. Countries that embrace these tools rise. Those that ignore them fall behind.
Nigeria has the talent. Nigeria has the youth. Nigeria has the spirit. But we are missing one thing: a system that puts the individual first.
Why We Built the U Economy
Nigeria’s economy has potential, but the people powering it are not recognized individually and are not given access to the tools they need: Small businesses struggle against high cost and outdated systems, Youth have ideas but no infrastructure,Communities have problems but no organized tools to solve them, Existing industries fail to expand opportunity, Technology grows globally while citizens remain excluded.
The U Economy exists to fix this imbalance by giving every person equal access to intelligence, opportunity, and ownership through a single platform
Azimio leader Raila Odinga has declared his intention to vie for the African Union Commission (AUC) chairperson, promising to bring social and economic change to the continent if elected.
